Welcome Back to
We look forward to safely filling our seats with the best movie lovers in the world. But first, a word from our CEO.
ShowPlace Safe & ICONIC Clean
The health and safety of our guests, team members and community are our top priority as we begin to reopen our theatres. Incorporating both the CDC, state and local guidelines and NATO's CinemaSafe protocols, we have implemented the ShowPlace Safe & ICONIC Clean program to address the changing policies and procedures you will see on your next visit.
Prior To Arrival
Face masks are mandatory in ALL common areas of the theatre such as lobbies, concession pick-up, hallways, restrooms, restaurants and bars. Masks may be removed when eating and drinking in the auditoriums.
We have implemented a "Cash Only" line near the entrance at each theatre. Our employees are specially trained on how to properly handle cash. Cash will only be accepted in exchange for a gift card. The gift card can be redeemed for purchase at the box office and concession kiosks. It is exact change only. If you arrive with a $50 bill, you can only purchase a $50 gift card. No change will be given.**(Where permitted by law)
To encourage a contactless interaction, all guests can purchase movie tickets and concession items through our website or ICON EXTRAS app. When arriving at the theatre, your ticket will be scanned from your phone and your concession order will be waiting for pickup at the concession stand.
At The Theatre
Onsite Ticket and Concession Ordering
Purchasing tickets and concession snacks at the theatre can be done on one of our lobby kiosks, which are sanitized after each use. Initially we have simplified our concession selections and we will be adding more items in the weeks to follow.
Sanitizing High-Contact Surfaces
High-contact surfaces are disinfected every morning and every 30 minutes during operating hours, including kiosks, door handles, counter tops, faucets and railings. We will also maintain nightly deep cleaning of all auditoriums, restrooms and high traffic areas.
All team members and guests must practice and maintain appropriate physical distancing as required by the CDC and local health authorities. Healthy distancing markers have been placed on the ground to assist guests in maintaining a safe distance of at least 6 feet apart from other guests and employees.
Keeping Your Hands Clean
All team members must properly and frequently wash their hands at the minimum of once every hour, and throughout their shift. Hands must be washed between each change of gloves. While we have implemented a more stringent policy for our team members, we also encourage all guests to frequently and thoroughly wash their hands as well.
Reserving Your Seats
Auditoriums are now seating at a reduced capacity. To adhere to state and local guidelines, our seating has been reduced and seats adjacent to your party will automatically be blocked to allow proper distancing.
More Time to Clean
Showtimes are staggered to allow more time for guests to exit and prevent overcrowding in our restrooms. This also allows us more time to clean and sanitize seats, armrests, cupholders and tray tables between shows.
Employee Wellness Check-Ins
All team members will be screened prior to their shift in which a supervisor will ask about their wellness and complete a temperature check. Any team member that has a fever, feels ill or has been in contact with anyone experiencing signs of illness will not be permitted to work.
Employees Wearing Proper Protective Equipment
ShowPlace ICON will provide all team members the required protective equipment that must be worn, as well as adhere to all CDC recommended standards of use of such equipment.
Plexiglass screens have been added in the concession pick-up areas where proper physical distancing is not otherwise possible.
Restaurant and Bars
Our restaurants and bars are currently closed. They will reopen once we are certain that all state and local guidelines can be implemented to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. In select locations, beer, wine and cocktails can be ordered from our kiosks and picked up at the concession stand.
Exiting The Theatre
Exiting the Auditorium
At the end of each performance, we will be exiting the auditorium by row, beginning at the front of the screen. This will allow guests to maintain proper distancing between groups. For everyone's safety, please avoid congregating in the lobby.
Exiting the Building
Some locations may have alternative exiting procedures. Please follow the lobby signage when exiting the building.
