How does the Lobby Lounge work today?

Guests who are 21 and over are welcome to enjoy the Lobby Lounge and an admission ticket to a film is not necessary. If you would like a table, please see a host. Tables are first-come, first-served and the host manages the order by which guests are seated within the Lobby Lounge. If you would like a seat at the bar, one may sit in any open seat at the bar. If you just want a cocktail without being seated at a table, please order at the bar and enjoy. If you are planning to take food and/or beverages into the VIP Premium seating, please place your order at the bar or, if seated at a table, place the order with your server. The VIP Premium section of the theatre provides guests with the optimum movie experience. To ensure your experience is uninterrupted, there is no in-theatre service.

What is the difference between VIP Premium Reserved Seating and Reserved Seating?

All auditoriums at ShowPlace ICON have reserved seating. For guests 21 and over, the VIP Premium reserved seating is in two auditoriums which have balcony-style seating, accessible only via the Lobby Lounge. Guests may bring food and beverages from the Lobby Lounge into the VIP Premium reserved section of the auditoriums. The VIP Premium seats are custom-designed luxury chairs with personal tables for food and drinks.

Why do you have reserved seating every day/every show time for all movies?

By having all-reserved seating at all times, guests know what to expect whenever they visit. It is hoped each guest’s movie-going experience will be to the individual’s preference.

What if the movie I want to see is not playing in the VIP Premium seating?
|

The most popular movies are presented in the two VIP Premium auditoriums. Guests are encouraged to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the Lobby Lounge. A visit to this immersive space can make any movie memorable whether or not it is being presented in the VIP Premium auditorium.

I tried buying VIP Premium tickets on Fandango, but there is no place for me to select the VIP Premium.

To purchase VIP Premium tickets, select one of the two movies designated with VIP Premium seating. If the movie you wish to view is not in the VIP Premium auditoriums, you will not be able to select this option

I have tried buying tickets on line, but the seat selection is done automatically. Is there a way to select the seats I want?

If the seat selection is not to your liking, simply select the “Change my seats” option. You may have to scroll to the base of the page. You will then be given the option to select from any available seat. Remember, before finishing your purchase, be sure to check the date, time and seat selection. Please keep in mind that row A is nearest the screen.

How long will the parking be free?

Currently, parking is free to capacity for guests of the ShowPlace ICON at Roosevelt Collection. Additional parking may be found at convenient lots located adjacent to the ICON on Wells Street. The theatre may be access by stair or elevator from the Wells Street level. As additional shops within the Roosevelt Collection open for business, a parking fee will be established by the center.

Where is your parking located?

You may enter the parking garage from Roosevelt Road (enter at the stoplight directly west of Target at Delano Court) or from Wells Street – just south of Polk Street. Please note that parking is free to capacity

What is the best way to access the theatre if I am walking? It looks like there should be an entrance on the north side, but it is still under construction.

If you are coming from the south, turn into the Roosevelt Collection at the light on Roosevelt Road, just west of Target. Continue north to the theatre entrance. If you are coming from the north, you may enter the parking garage on the P3 level utilizing the entrance off of Wells Street and take the elevator to the plaza level. This will be available until the north entrance is completed.

I purchased my tickets online through Fandango. Why was I charged a service fee?

Tickets purchased through Fandango will incur an online ticketing service fee. Internet ticketing service fees are waived for EXTRAS Program Members who sign in through the EXTRAS Portal and purchase their tickets through ShowplaceICON.com only.
